The Great Gatsby

M: The students will be introduced to the chapters 1 & 2 vocabulary; establish setting and characterization.

T: The students will be introduced to the elements of the Jazz Age and the three tenets of the American Dream. Notes and discussion.

W: Mrs. Donna Jennings will be in all classes assisting students with ACT preparation.

Th: The students will read pages 3 – 7 and will discuss the point of view of the narrator, Nick Carraway.

F: Mrs. Donna Jennings will be in all classes assisting students with schedules for the 2016 – 2017 school year.
